Alix Stefan was born in Wisconsin, raised in Puerto Rico, she studied art in upper New York State and at the University of Arizona. Her obvious love and respect for the out-of-doors is clearly represented in he paintings. Her placement of oil on paper brings to life the natural colors of her surroundings.
